Jack's Blaster raises £450 for charity
A limited edition print of Jack's Blaster from Department Six raised £450 at a Gala dinner and charity auction held on the 13 November at the Brangwyn Hall in Swansea, Wales.
Making Swansea Proud, the charity that organises volunteers to build homes in some of the most deprived townships of South Africa managed to raise a total of £22,000 at this event. The money raised will enable Swansea volunteers to travel to Cape Town in March 2009 to help eradicate the atrocious living conditions of millions of people.
In November 2007, 1380 volunteers went on a building blitz and built 203 houses, changing the lives of over 1500 people.
